À la recherche du mariage parfait (3/12) / Looking for the perfect association (3/12)

Comme vous avez pu le voir depuis le début de l'année, cette année je tricote des chaussettes ! J'ai encore quelques paires en standby, mais puisque la semaine du tricot et du crochet vient de finir, je ne pouvais pas ne pas vous montrer celles que j'ai offertes à ma marraine pour son anniversaire, en avril. Quel rapport me direz-vous ? C'est simple : le modèle que j'ai utilisé est celui que Mimi avait imaginées l'année dernière dans le cadre de la semaine, et je m'étais promis de le tricoter dans l'année. Voilà au moins un objectif que j'aurai atteint ! Le modèle est vraiment très sympa et met particulièrement en valeur les fils qui font des rayures tout seuls, voici donc une autre belle association fil/modèle !

Ma marraine commence à avoir une belle collection de chaussettes, pour Noël elle m'a donc commandé une écharpe ! ;) À suivre ! 

Monkey House Socks, Regia Cotton Surf Color (5420)

You might have noticed, since the beginning of the year, that I have knitted quite a few socks. There are still some of them I did not show you, but as the Knitting and crochet blog week just went by, I wanted to show these ones. This is a pattern that Mimi  designed last year for the participants to the blog week, and I had committed myself to knit them before the next edition. Here is, at least, one objective I managed to achieve!

This is a great pattern, especially for self-striping sock yarn, and I think I will use it to destash more of my self-striping stash! These were for my godmother. I have first started knitting socks for her and she has quite a collection now, so she asked for a scarf, instead, for Christmas. :) I already bought the yarn, now I have to think of the pattern (never too early to plan for Christmas knitting!)!
