Cela faisait longtemps ! Lorsque je tricote des choses censées être simples (un bonnet, genre), j'aime bien en profiter pour tester de nouvelles techniques.
J'ai donc cherché un moyen de faire le « long tail cast on » (ce terme n'a toujours pas de traduction officielle en français, ce me semble, quelle misère) sans avoir à m'arracher quelques cheveux (surtout que je les ai trop courts pour cela) pour calculer de quelle longueur de fil j'aurais besoin.
La solution je l'ai trouvée chez Knitspirit avec la vidéo que vous trouverez ci-dessous.

When I knit "simple" things (hats, for instance), I like to try out new techniques.
I was looking for a way not to spend hours calculating how much yarn would be needed for my long tail cast on when I came across the video above. It is in French but just turn the volume down (except if you love French accent) and watch the images, the technique is very self-explanatory.
