Échantillons et autres histoires / It's just a question of swatches...

Ces jours-ci je vois passer beaucoup d'articles intéressants sur les échantillons alors j'ai décidé de les regrouper ici, si j'en vois passer d'autres je les ajouterai sans doute au fur et à mesure, et vous pourrez aussi les retrouver via ma page Trucastuces.

 

Bien sûr les liens postés en anglais et français sont différents, donc si vous lisez les deux langues, n'hésitez pas à jeter un coup d'oeil !

Today's series is on swatching. Swatching is something knitters do not really like, usually, but still it is very useful! Why? Have a look!

 

If you do not even know what a "swatch" is (no, I am not referring to a Swiss brand for watches), just start with this clever article by Amy Herzog, or this one by Ysolda Teague , both are very good (and the second one is dedicated to one of Ysolda's pattern, so you will even see concrete application of the explanation she is giving).
