Où en étions-nous. Ah oui. Ohlallala la tonne de choses en retard pour le blog, pfiouh, ça promet.

Bon je vais essayer de tenir un rythme un peu plus normal là, avec un peu de chances j'aurai fini de vous montrer d'ici la fin de l'année !

Nous disions donc...
Il y a un petit bonhomme pour qui je tricote depuis sa naissance. Et qui a fêté ses deux ans cet été sans cadeau fait main par Tatie Lydia. C'est mal, c'est très mal. Le pire c'est que le cadeau était commencé mais pas fini, entre temps il y a eu un déménagement et pas mal de choses, mais finalement petit bonhomme a reçu son cadeau et ma foi... les images parlent bien mieux que les mots.

Quelques petites infos quand même.

Modèle : Tiré de One Skein (excellent bouquin que je recommande, mais il n'a malheureusement pas été traduit en français)

Laine : Pop Corn (Schoeller & Stahl) trouvée chez ma dealeuse habituelle

Aiguilles : 5 mm circulaires

Et le truc génial c'est la bordure. Une i-cord tricotée directement sur le gilet en prenant une maille lisière, pour un résultat encore plus joli et plus facile à faire qu'une bordure au crochet, je suis fan.

Well well well... loads of things to do, few minutes to tell, so here we go with something new.

There is a little boy I have been knitting boy since he was born, two years ago. I missed his birthday because I was late-as-usual, but finally he got something he seems to really really like and I was soooooo proud when I saw the pictures his father sent me, I just can't find words for that feeling.

So this a pattern from the One Skein book, which is really a must-have to my mind. The yarn is Schoeller & Stahl's Popcorn which I have been buying at my official dealer's and I must say the thing I like most about it is the i-cord edge which is not knitted separately and then sewn but knitted directly on the work, and I think this is far better than crochet. As we say in French "to try it is to adopt it".
